Hi! I’m Erin, the writer and painter behind Unbound Roots – a site that resulted from my passion for gardening, painting, writing, experiential learning, research, and sharing. I enjoy sharing heart-warming stories of exploration, wonder, determination, love, and growth – many grounded in research. Some of my favorite topics to write about are outdoor activities, gardening, animals (particularly chickens and horses), the family farm, and watercolor painting. I also have a painting gallery where visitors can view my completed watercolor paintings. If a painting inspires you, many of my paintings are available in quality archival prints in the shop.
